What a big brother

Today Emily had her first try at rice cereal and what better person to feed it to her then her big brother.  He was so proud to do it and it really encourages that sibbling bonding.  He loves her and wants to help out all the time.  He even changed a diaper(with a little help of course).
She wasn't to sure about the cereal so I think we will wait another week to try it again.

She is looking right at daddy showing her love....

visit from the Patricks

We had a visit from our Colorado friends, the Patricks.  We had a great time going to the beach and soaking in the weather.
The kids enjoyed cooking up some smores.
Emily would love to walk if she could.
Nicholas and Lilly.  I think he was a little smitten.

The galloping ponies at Irvine Regional Park.
Chris had a great time in Seattle at the dental convention.  He got to see a few of his classmates from dental school.  They golfed at a nice course there and they enjoyed catching up.
Golfing on the Peugeot Sound.
Unfortunately our camera broke before the trip to Spokane so all we had was this pic from our friends.  Nicholas and his friend cameron enjoying a pull behind the boat.  They loved every minute of it.

Emily being cute.

The Great NORTH

Here we are in Spokane, Washington for our vacation. We are staying with friends from Dental School and we are having a great time. They live on the Spokane River and have a boat and jet ski so even mommy has gone out of her comfort zone and gone behind the boat. Today Nicholas went on the inner tube with his friend Cameron and they were such brave big boys. The 4th was spent with some friends and about an hour of huge fireworks the someone got on the reservation in Montana. They were the type you would have expected at the fair or something. We felt pretty fortunate. The three families under one roof are doing good and we even got a babysitter and got to go out to dinner last night. Pictures to come......Happy 4th........
