Pismo Beach

A day at the beach..Isn't she fabulous.

Savannah and Emily were inseperable.

My sister gave Nicholas these batman glasses and he would not take them off.  I had a really hard time taking him serious with them on.  They had these little flaps that opened and closed over the eyes.  He loves being batman.

On July 25th Emily started sitting up..I just put her down to try it and she stayed up.  She has gotten sturdier ever since.

Her first ride sitting up in her stroller.  She loved being able to see out.

Nicholas thinks it is fun to climb into the crib with her and she loves it.

Ok so I am one of those moms who puts things on their kids that I think are cute, but isn't she just precious in this...

Ok we finally got a few more pictures from our trip up North...so these are 4th of July week.

Nicholas and his friend Cameron had a blast on the inner tube...they kept doing thumbs up for faster...

Mommy decided that she wasn't going to wimp out so I tried the wake board and had so much fun...It made me wish we knew someone closer with a boat.  I loved it....

Emily pretty much slept anytime the boat moved.

keeping busy

I am not sure where the time goes, but we have been busy this summer.  We just got back from spending a week in Pismo Beach for my mom's 60th birthday.  It was great to get the whole family together and my niece and nephew were like having built in babysitting.  My niece Savannah had just spent the week with us also and was really fun to have.  I am going to try and post our highlights...It is hard to pick..

What a big brother

Today Emily had her first try at rice cereal and what better person to feed it to her then her big brother.  He was so proud to do it and it really encourages that sibbling bonding.  He loves her and wants to help out all the time.  He even changed a diaper(with a little help of course).

She wasn't to sure about the cereal so I think we will wait another week to try it again.

visit from the Patricks

We had a visit from our Colorado friends, the Patricks.  We had a great time going to the beach and soaking in the weather.

The kids enjoyed cooking up some smores.

Chris had a great time in Seattle at the dental convention.  He got to see a few of his classmates from dental school.  They golfed at a nice course there and they enjoyed catching up.
