Emily lounging in her suit
Nicholas opening presents and blowing out candles seaside.
Nicholas celebrating his birthday yet again at preschool this time...
Isnt she a cutie.....

Where does the time go??  It is amazing that with two children if flies even faster.  I do not feel like I was ever the mother of just one.  What a little angel we have.  This may be my only forum to brag....Emily is now 3 months and she has been sleeping through the night for a month, yes a month and I am starting to feel human again.  We put her down at 9ish and she sleeps until 7am...I guess sleepers run in our family...She will probably make up for it in her teen years.  Nicholas turned 4 on May 1st and we had a wonderful time camping at Doheny.  He had so much fun and we were joined by a lot of friends and of course family...I think I finally found my groove and we are moving forward.  Nicholas still loves his sisty(as he calls her)  which he got from his friend Megan who calls her sister that....We are keeping busy with preschool, swimming and lots of fun playdates.  Emily weighs a whopping 14pounds 15ounces.  She has two chins and loves to smile...I am attatching a whole lot of pics to catch up...

Easter in the snow

I just realized I forgot to post Easter... We actually spent it in mammoth and the easter bunny hid eggs in the snow and the boys(Nolan and Nicholas) enjoyed dying some eggs.  It was farely uneventful as everyone skiied and Emily and mommy hung out...I got pretty sick with what I think was beginning stages on mastitis..Fever, chills, pain..Luckily our family Pediatrician gave me some great advice and I was able to get better before I got worse.  We kept meaning to redo easter just for pics at home but we never quite got there....We did see the Easter bunny and got great photos of NIcholas and Emily.....

We have been busy lately.  Emily is 8 weeks old and doing great and Nicholas really loves her and wants to do whatever she does.  Sometimes it is pretty funny to see him trying to become the baby again and other times it just does not work...We had gma and grandpa for a visit...It was a lot of help and it was gpas first time seeing the baby.  He thought she was pretty special.  Emily is continuously sleeping at night so mommy feels like a new woman.  IT is amazing what sleep can do for you.  We are enjoying our family of 4 and look forward to a trip up to Elk Grove next weekend to hopefully introduce the rest of the family to Emily..

Pics from skiing

Mammoth Mountain

We just got back from a great ski trip with our family. It was Nicholas' second time ever and it had been a year since he had even been on snow so I wasn't sure how he would do. I shouldn't have worried, because he picked it up again right away and loved every minute. His dad, pop pop, and cousin Nolan took him all over the mountain (except for the black diamonds thank goodness) and he did not want to quit at the end of each day. He is his father's son when it comes to this sport. Mommy even got out after a year and skied a few runs with her son...It was great...WE are proud parents... Nicholas earned the Nickname of Klaus the Bomber...we hope some of you can ski with us in the future.

Emily is a Month old and growing fast and beautifully. Time is flying and she is an excellent baby. Last night she actually slept 5 hours straight...Don't be mad, but we just have good sleepers...Nicholas loves her and treats her really well...He helped with her bath the other day. It was so cute to see him be so tender with her. We are settling in to our groove and feel blessed to have our family of 4.
